If we were going to set a bar for the number of state championships that would create a LEGACY for that program what would that number be?  That answer was 5.  How many high school programs in the state of Georgia have 5 or more state championships?  That number is too low.

In the history of an activity there would be entirely too many programs with 5 or more championships!  I would definitely have to raise that number/bar!  Long story short, after pouring over the GHSA archives, I did not have to raise the bar.  And, a pivotal member of the Dynasty Fan Wear brand came to life!  The Legacy Of Champions 3%ER!  Why 3%?  With the first state championship being awarded in 1926 (football) and 463 member schools, (There are many more if you count all that have participated at one point or another during GHSA’s illustrious history.) only 3% of the programs in each activities’ history has 5 or more championships. And by activities we are talking about everything from football to riflery to one act play!  Only 3%...  A testament to the legitimacy of our mission.
